What School Never Taught Me

If 38 students enter college, 39% will expect to be millionaires by age 40, however…
Only 18 will graduate, and after graduation:
• Average credit card debt for each will be $2169, with student loans of $19,000
• 9 will move back home
• 9 will be “underemployed”
• 8 will still be living with their parents more than a year after graduating
• Almost all will work for a company, instead of for themselves
• Average lifetime salary of each will be $40,387
• Upwards of 70% will not like their jobs.

Do you see the problem? The academic institution is great at what they do, educated the masses in very specific topics. However, the majority of critical life-skills are never cover inside the school setting. This speech takes an honest look at the many shocks students should be prepared for after graduation.
